April Meeting: Poetry Month

To celebrate Poetry Month, we are excited to welcome poets from Planet Earth Poetry (PEP), a 30-year-old weekly reading series. Steven Ross Smith, President of PEP, will read from his work as will several of his PEP colleagues.
But first, the meeting will start with some of our VWS members at the mic reading their poetry. Be prepared to be dazzled by the talent in our community!
Established in Canada in 1998 by the League of Canadian Poets, National Poetry Month takes place every April and brings together schools, publishers, booksellers, literary organizations, libraries, communities and poets from across the country to celebrate poetry and its vital place in Canada’s culture. We hope you will join us for this amazing event!
