Blue Pencil Sessions with PEAVI
At our April 04 meeting at the library the Professional Editors Association of Vancouver Island (PEAVI) offers a BLUE PENCIL EVENING for VWS members.
A professional editor will look over an 800-word example of your fiction, poetry or Creative Non Fiction. Sessions last about twenty minutes each.
Do you plan to submit to our 17th Annual VWS Writing Contest? This is a chance to polish up that piece you’re working on. The Contest deadline is May 01 victoriawriters.ca/writing-contest/
R.S.V.P. – To help with planning, please inform us beforehand if possible (secretary@victoriawriters.ca). Even without that, you will be able to join in at the last minute. You may send an e-copy on ahead, but be sure to bring hard copies on the night.
This will be the fourth Blue Pencil evening for PEAVI and the VWS. Our writing can always benefit from a review by a professional editor. Get a fresh perspective peavi.ca
