Iain Higgins

Iain Higgins, editor of the Malahat Review, will explore current trends in
the world of Canadian literary magazine publishing, with a brief account of The Malahat Review’s own history. He will discuss the challenges of getting published (for writers) and of choosing material to publish (the editorial point of view). Please bring your questions.

Iain Higgins is a writer, translator, critic, and teacher. He teaches in both the English Department and the Medieval Studies Program at the University of Victoria and has been Editor of The Malahat Review since 2018.
