The VWS Steering Committee is looking forward to seeing you at our meetings. Look for people wearing nametags and come and say hi.

All VWS meetings are open to the general public so bring your friends and family.

General meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month, except for July & August, 7-8:30 pm at Russell Books 747 Fort St., Victoria.

As the days get shorter and shorter this month more time indoors means more time to write! Check out these writing prompts:

• Write about your favorite winter activity.
• Make a survival list of all you need to make it through the winter.
• Describe the way the weather changes in winter, including as many specific descriptive details as you can.
• Write about your favorite family holiday traditions (December or  otherwise).
• Describe your favorite drink in winter, including all five senses if  possible.

…and set your writing goals for 2026!
