All VWS meetings are open to the general public so bring your friends and family.

General meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month, except for July & August, 7-8:30 pm at Russell Books 747 Fort St., Victoria.

With the dawn of the New Year, it’s a good time to evaluate your writing goals! Consider these prompts for January:

Don’t put pressure on yourself. Just try writing a few sentences or a single paragraph every day. Treat this month like a warm-up and allow yourself to write badly. Have fun with it, too! No one has to see your work, so take chances and tap into your wonderful imagination.
