What’s the point of an editor? One of the biggest conundrums for an author has got to be whether or not to hire an editor. This talk will provide some guidance on this question.

Lenore Hietkamp has been editing for 19 years. She works for authors and publishers, in many subjects, and was the editorial coordinator for Heritage House Publishing for several years. She was shortlisted for the editorial award from Editors Canada for the editing and production of The Embodied Violinist, written and sell-published by Victoria musician and teacher Gwen Thompson-Robinow. When Lenore is not editing, she’s painting portraits of animals and people.
